Sengai was one of the great Japanese Zen masters. Daisetz Suzuki considered his explanatory notes and texts on Sengai's scrolls as the summing-up of his work. Reproductions of 127 ink drawings and calligraphies with Suzuki's commentaries. No name or other markings. The dustjacket is price-intact with slight browning along the edges.
