Paperback. Condition: Good. New York, N.Y.: Bauer Alphabets Inc. [16] pp. 26.5 x 19 cm. Paper wrappers printed in read and black; not dated but presumed c. 1950s. Large peeled spot algong fore-edge of front cover, which is approximately 7 x 2 cm in size. Light dampstain to fore-edge of interior which corresponds to peeled spot on cover. very light dampstain to rear cover. Interior othewise clean and unmarked. Binding sound. A type specimen book for the font Futura, which was created by Paul Renner and released in 1927 by the Bauer Type Foundry, known as Bauersche Giesserei in Germany. This specimen catalogue shows examples of Futura Light, Book, Medium, Demibold, Bold, Medium Condensed, Bold Condensed, Light Oblique, Book Oblique, Medium Oblique, Demibold Oblique, Bold Oblique, Display, and Black. . Soft Cover. Good.
