Neat chronological family gift inscriptions to the ffep as it passed down in the family, otherwise the interior is remarkably clean with the occasional finger smudge or small stain. Dozen or so short tears and couple of longer ones to page extremities throughout, cello tape repair to pp.133/34. Rear board is moderately hinged but very firmly attached. Ten beautiful full colour illustrations with numerous fantastic black and white illustrations to chapter heads and margins throughout. This could be a second or third printing featuring the red cloth boards. They are moderately bumped and rubbed to extremities with some light soiling and fading to show. The full textured Santa illustration to the front board is in very nice condition with some colour loss.
