1920. (Mass market paperback) Near fine. Map, double-sided. 9 x 13 inches. This map of Oz was originally reprinted in colour in 1920 and given away with Oz books that year, perhaps with 'Glinda of Oz', in particular. The Emerald City, located in the centre, is surrounded by the known countries of Oz at the time: Gilliken. Munchkin. Winkie. Quadling. Muchkin country is shown to the west and Winkie country to the east, something contrary to the text of the original books, but has been said to be a confusion that occurred in all Oz maps printed after 1914. The verso shows the flag of Oz. Near fine condition wirh folded crease down the middle and some small and minor chips to the side edges. Is, aside from the aforementioned, clean and very bright. Protected in a sealed archival bag. Great piece of early Oz ephemera.
