Edges and corners show light bumps and there is some light staining on the top and bottom page edges. The internal binding is good in text pages are tight. Paper is toned due to age and the end pages and pastedowns show heavy foxing with the rear pastedown being the heaviest. It appears the book was never fully read as numerous quadrants of pages are still partially uncut. Copyright page states first edition. Ronald Bean (illustrator). Signed by Author(s).
