[Gainesville, FL], 1985 January 26. Fine. A concise summation of his claim to Olympic fame. With original envelope, partly addressed by Beard. Accompanied by two scarce, handsomely engraved mementos of the 1932 Olympics: First, a printed admission ticket in blue and red ink, heavy stock 3" X 2", for the "TRACK & / FIELD / Aug. 5 / 2:30 P.M. / GEN. ADMISSION / $2.00." Decorative border, main title along top "Xth OLYMPIAD," ornate Olympic symbol with American shield at center. Very good. Bit of edgewear, with minor border loss at upper right. Also, a second printed admission ticket in brown ink, heavy stock 4½" X 2½", ornate borders and scrolls, for the "American Football / Olympic Stadium" on August 8 at 8p.m. Left margin specifies "STAIR / 23 / ROW / 63 / Seat / 107." Good plus. A tad age toned and mildly edgeworn, more so along right margin, which shows several small edge chips. Verso shows a seating chart for this stadium. An uncommon trio.
