With colour illustrations by Tony Ludovici. The Son of the infamous Marquess of Queensberry, Douglas is best known for his relationship with Oscar Wilde. This scarce volume was published pseudonymously towards the end of Wilde's life. Oblong 4to. Rubbing to covers and corners, Toning and marking to rear cover. Some very faint foxing within. Binding tight and sound. Fair/good.

Hbk, oblong 4to, quarter cloth over decorated paper-covered boards, 72pp, full-page color illustr throughout, covers shelfworn, rubbed at extremities and lightly soiled with a prev owner's name faintly inked at the top front, the boards loosening from text and in need of stabilization but text itself is tight, endpapers are wrinkled and torn, 1 plate ('The Tiger') has a single horizontal tear, but overall this is a good and internally bright and clean copy and a very good candidate for restoration.

The blank rear of the full page colour illustration and the illustrations are not numbered but are part of the 72 pages. The illustrations are black/white with some colour printing.
