Tibbs was an artist and poet who drew the cover art for Bukowski s first book, Flower, Fist and Bestial Wail. He and Bukowski corresponded in the early 1960s. His poetry also appeared in many of the same poetry journals as Bukowski. This copy is in Fine condition and comes with the original enveloped addressed to Seamus Cooney, editor of the three volumes of Bukowski letters published by Black Sparrow Press. Non-Buk 2.
