Signed by Michael Benedikt on the copyright page, also inscribed by him on the title page to American poet Peter Viereck: "for Peter - With admirations and amities to a major figure on the page and in the spirit, from Michael." With an additional penciled note on a page printing one of his poems: "Peter, not in the badminton book, this one in section III. Michael. P.S. 'I dunno' about this poem." He has also made a couple of manuscript corrections to a biographical statement at the end of the book and initialed the changes.
