He is author of the the great 12 O'Clock High published in 1948. Both books became the basis of landmark films, the first starring William Holden and the second starring Gregory Peck. Both Oscar films. rare book could only locate one other copy on line, that being the 2nd re issue from Grosset in dj, however, that book was signed. Perfect reading for any future flier.
