With some trivial rubbing to the leather, dediation page inscribed by a lodge president and recorder d. 1934, otherwise exceedingly and uncommonly clean and sharp with gilt very bright and leather clean and supple.

Condition: VERY GOOD. 1194pp. + color maps with transparent foldout overlays. 8vo, bound in Morocco goatskin leather, gilt stamped lettering and dentelle, all edges gilt, black place ribbon; smyth-sewn binding with overcast stitching, printed in the USA on fine paper. Owner's name imprinted to the front cover, some modest wear to leather and page edges, stain to the very tail edge of the last few pages of the concordance, otherwise entirely clean and unmarked with sound binding.

Revised Edition. 1710 pp. + B/W maps and one color foldout map. 8vo, Smyth-sewn binding in black 'Morocco' goatskin leather with half yapp, leather lined, all edges gilt, thumb indexed, frayed place ribbon. Owner's name imprinted to front cover, very light wear to the textblock; a very clean and fresh copy, much nicer than usual with supple leather, blank dedication, crisp pages, and very solid binding.

Printed in Great Britain in 1960 according to the print code at the end of the BCP. 1928 edition of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, 1952 update. 16mo, smyth-sewn binding with overcast stitching, bound in black 'Morocco' goatskin leather with leather liner, all edges gilt, seven original place ribbons. Text of the KJV following BCP, 'Brevier Clarendon Reference' edition. Some rubbing to the spine tips, text edges a bit warped, owner's name embossed to front cover, entirely sound and unmarked otherwise. This combination of KJV + BCP 1928 is out of print. Though it has been reproduced by a few small publishers over the years, an India-paper copy in goatskin is quite rarely seen.

Unpaginated , original black grained leather, large 4to, v slight wear & one small corner tear in leather [repaired and barely noticeable], aeg, gold tooled, original marbled eps, a very interesting copy: originally a Cambridge University Syndics presentation copy for King William IV, 1837, with facsimile signatures of all the 'big-wigs' at the front, printed throughout in 2 colours, red & black, a fine copy well preserved. This copy y has its own curious history recorded on a prelim. leaf: originally given to Bishop Frederick Gell of Madras by James Cartmell Master of Christ's College, Cambridge in 1861 (inscribed ink presentation], and then presented by the Bishop's great nephew Philip Gell of Hopton Hall, Derbyshire to St Barnabas Church, Hackney, London to replace a Bible destroyed by German bombs in WWII. Philip Lyttelton Gell bookplates. Excellent copy bar slight browning from the paper of blank ep pages at either end. V large heavy books, carriage and insurance extra unless collected. A v fine 2 vol set with interesting history. Size: Large 4to. Presentation Copy. Antiquarian.
