Previous owner's details to front free end paper. Illustrated with Black and White Photographs. 127 pages. John McConnell Black [1855-1951] was the author of "The Flora of South Australia". He came to botany, relatively late in his career, having been a banker in Scotland, then a farmer, reporter and newspaper editor following his arrival in South Australia in 1877. This book contains his own memoir and a brief biography by M. W. Andrew and a Genealogy and Family History by E.C. Black. Robust, professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels.
