Several of his science fiction stories have appeared in "best of" anthologies. Many writers have cited Brown stories as influential in their own development. This is a collection of 29 stories that includes "Arena", one of his most heralded works. This copy is plain but has clean pages and a tight binding. A previous owner idd write their name in it and marked the story "Knock" in the contents listing. This seller is in Taos, NM, a place where Brown and his family resided for many years. It provides the setting for his novel "The Far Cry" in 1951.
