Green Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 319pp. A lovely copy of this first edition with wrapper. Illustrated with numerous full page colour plates and b/w drawings throughout. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Light bump to the tail of the spine and one corner slightly bumped. There is a strip of fading to the extreme edges of the head and tail of the spine, under the wrapper. Light foxing to the upper fore edge. Neat ink presentation inscription to the front end paper. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is price clipped. There are several tiny niks to the head and tail of the spine of the wrapper with slight superficial loss at the head of the spine of the wrapper and a little associated rubbing. A couple of niks to the head of the rear of the wrapper and at the corners of the wrapper and a slight scratch mark to the rear of the wrapper. The wrapper remains clean and bright. A very good copy.
