Cloth. Condition: Fair. Third printing (1948). Ex-library features include: stamp (library name) on inside front cover), second partial stamping also present. Cloth hardcover with gilt lettering is considerably faded with color loss and minor tearing at corners/edges. Spine text can barely be made out and cover cloth has many stains from shelf-life wear and use. Some scratches to cover boards. Other than the stamps on the inside front cover and the occasional spot pages are clean without notes or highlighting. A few pages have bends/creases at middle top of sheet. Binding tight. We are a Benedictine Abbey and Seminary library in Oregon. We appreciate your support.

Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf wear with minor corner bumping and crushing to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Book has strong forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed.

Tips Are Gently Bumped.The Rear Cover Has Some Red Marks At The Top, Presumably Red Ink, As Well As Scuff Marks From Shelving Or Handling. The Rear Eps Have A Crease From The Binding Process. Laid Into The Book Is A Tiny Booklet Titled " Admit The Bearer A Sinner' By Rev James Johnston Published By The Toronto Willard Tract Depository Which Is Not Dated But Could Be Late 1800S.
