Early Los Angeles fanzine with a cover story on the Sex Pistols, which addresses their controversial December 1, 1976 appearance on BBC TV and rumors of the band signing to an American label. This issue also includes an interview with Tomata du Plenty and Tommy Gear of the Screamers, a review of David Bowie's Low (1977), a report on the Ramones show with Blondie at the Whisky a Go Go on February 19, 1977, and a piece on the "acute lack of punk &/or pop music" in the San Gabriel Valley. Notably, Street Life features original photography by Jenny Stern or Jenny Lens, as she is better known. Standard A4 format (8 1/2 x 11"): [16] p. including the wrappers. Crudely assembled, it appears additional pages were anticipated; per the table of contents, this issue is complete. Photomechanically reproduced and bound with two staples. The rear panel features the original subscriber's handwritten address and a post office stamp. Some moderate toning to the wrappers. Scarce, OCLC locates only one holding of this issue, at Bowling Green.
