Seller: Rulon-Miller Books (ABAA / ILAB), St. Paul, MN, U.S.A.
Original illustrated typescript, 8vo, 39 leaves in all; purple card wrappers, ribbon-bound; quite chipped at the extremities, the ribbon worn and loosening, but internally quite nice with numerous illustrations pasted in, as well as 8 (of 9) interesting paper samples (one - tar paper - is missing). Clearly this was a school project: on the last leaf is the approbation of a teacher, "Excellent 12/1/24 C. D. S." Largely extracted from Frank O. Butler's work The Story of Papermaking (1901).
