Anthony Borgia was a medium who transcribed the thoughts of Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson (1871 Ğ 1914), a deceased Catholic priest and author whom he had known in life. Benson was the son of Edward White Benson, a former Archbishop of Canterbury. Borgia has contributed to the preface (initials in pencil) and several of his books are referred to in the text. Basil Stewart wrote a variety of books on subjects such as the pyramids and Japanese prints. Here he addresses the low moral spiritual condition of the world and the need to reform religion. Handwritten errata slip tipped in. A few speckled marks and slight wear to head of spine of dust-jacket. VG. Slight wear, otherwise very good indeed. Signedes.
