Rara operetta pubblicata nel 1782 dal nobile gesuita di origine austriaca (Karlsburg 1742 - Vienna 1791) in cui con una certa ferocia si scaglia contro l'ordine minore dei frati, sottolineandone le cattive condotte e anche particolari antropologici ("Se tutta la Hierarchia ordinare si dovesse a norma del metodo de' mammali di Linneo i Frati ai bruti riferire si debbono."). Distingue poi tra frati benedettini, domenicani, camaldolesi, francescani, cappuccini, agostiniani, trinitari, carmelitani, serviti, trappiti, paolotti, e di tutti fornisce dettagli fisici, sulla alimentazione, formazioni e giudizi sprezzanti e, dove presente, considera anche il genere femminile.
