There has been some storage damage to the fabric which has caused rippling. The dustjacket is foxed. There are closed tears at every corner. Both the dj front and back covers have marking from handling and storage. The dj spine is marked and faded. There is wear to the head and foot. The claret dustjacket too has wear, tear and marking. It has an open tear to the top left corner of the front cover. There is wear to all extremities and corners. There is general foxing. The spine is discoloured and worn to the head and foot. The blue covers of both volumes are robust and sturdy. They have little wear. The paper trim edges and front and end pages of both volumes have general spotting and foxing.
