Small library number inked to spine, free endpapers and title page; former owner's name penciled to the rear free endpaper with a small calling card laid in. No indication what library this book came from, but library stamps from other volumes we have handled indicate Galesville College in Wisconsin. Bookplate of Norwegian-American collector Herman Gimmestad to the front pastedown; Mr. Gimmestad's father was a former president of Galesville College. The cloth is edgeworn and rubbed, with frays at the head and heel of the spine. The paper is toned and a bit fragile, but it is not chipped and can be handled. Hinges solid; binding square. Scarce; WorldCat shows only two holdings worldwide. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
