Contemporary quarter sheep and marbled paper over boards. Lacking the leather spine back, both boards detached, the final issue is partly detached, else very good with intermittent scattered foxing. A scarce early volume, featuring various articles on tobacco, wheat, corn, fruits and vegetables, lime, etc., together with articles on reaping machines, churns, and various implements. The August issue features "The Culture of Hemp" by William M. Peyton, and the "Philosophy of Wheat Culture". Scarce. *OCLC* locates only one serial holding at the Huntington Library.
