"Boucheul était avocat au siège royal du Dorat, capital de la Basse-Marche, lieu de sa naissance." . il sera ensuite juge sénéchal de la baronnie du Riz-Chauveron (Haute-Vienne), et sa réputation lui vaudra d être appelé « l aigle de son temps ».
