In 1957 she turned her life in a new direction, taking a job on the staff of Senator John F. Kennedy (see p. 23). She typed his speeches, responded to correspondence, and was a liaison to supporters during the campaign. Includes numerous photos of Jean with Kennedy and other supporters, and of some other ephemera from her collection. Jean continued on with the Johnson administration until 1967; then working with AID until 1979.
