Para preencher alguns elos perdidos, ele tera que redescobrir a historia de pessoas chaves e suas tecnologias ancestrais, algumas com mais de 50 anos, que hoje estao se tornando esquecidas por causa da ansiedade de nao ficar para tras em meio a tantos lancamentos, discutir Filosofia com Socrates e Platao e ate mesmo entender como os modelos de negocio de Software Livre, Microsoft e Apple influenciam na tecnologia. Somente se ele conseguir compreender a mensagem que Dominique esta querendo passar, HP conseguira mudar sua perspectiva sobre os avancos da tecnologia. Se antes ele achava que todos avancos tecnologicos eram apenas positivos, ele tera que desenvolver uma visao critica sobre a inovacao e perceber que existem trade-offs.
