In this case, the short front legs of the Joey had become detached and have been reattached with a little glue -- probably still detachable if wiggled.

Minor shelf/edge wear to brown cloth boards with color pastedown on front cover - tiny bump to one corner. Moderate shelf/edge wear, chipping and a few dampstains to original unclipped DJ - now in mylar. Previous owner name on inside front cover and the dedication page. All pages are clean and unmarked. A few have some offsetting from the illustrations on opposite pages. Rear inside cover has the bookstore stamp of the famous and sadly long gone Hudsons Book Store which was a part of the Hudsons Department Store of Detroit, Michigan. A very handsome copy in a respectable and scarce DJ.LOC SSS-11.
