Il avait notamment inventé un appareil appelé "Aurillette" servant à favoriser l'apprentissage des notes de musique, et qu'il vendait chez lui. Relié à l'époque sans mention de tomaison, notre exemplaire présente un collationnement identique à celui de la plupart des exemplaires que nous avons pu localiser dans les bibliothèques publiques.
