The late great Jill Johnston (…1929-2010) was a critic, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and the book bears her distinctive stamp in blue ink on the title page which reads "Write first. then live. J.J." Laid in a Macmillan courtesy review slip from the time of publication. The book is in Very Good condition with bottom points lightly bumped, and the dj has some edge-wear but no chips or tears. A 2019 New Republic piece examines the relationship of Brockman and the late Jeffrey Epstein.
