Condition: Near Fine. A woodcut print, executed in dark blue ink onto heavy gray paper, measuring 5-7/8 inches tall x 8-7/8 inches wide with "RB" in negative to lower right corner. Print with just a touch of toning to a narrow strip on the left edge, else fine. An uncommon, personal and quite likely, very limited piece by this renowned printmaker, created to invite friends and family to share an important event in his sons' lives. His works are in many museum collections, including the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Public Library, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
