No edition/printing statement provided (1922 date upon title page with Foreword and Introduction both dated for 1921). 265 pages. Hardcover. No dust jacket. Green cloth; light scuffing and some bumping at spine ends and board corners; spine lettering a but dulled but still legible; two minor indentations to rear board. Toning and a few small stains to text block edges. Toning to endpapers; shallow wear along rear free endpaper fore-edge; brown stains to last two leaves. Binding remains firm. With Foreword by the author, an Introduction by Dr. T.B. Ray [Dr. T. Bronson Ray], b/w frontispiece and several b/w plates on unpaged leaves, and Index. Reverend Ginsburg recounts his missionary career in Brazil with specific chapters reviewing assignments in Bahia (1892), Campos (1893-1900), and Pernambuco (1900-1909). OCLC cites copies among member libraries with 1921 and 1922 copyright dates so evidently this is a second printing. Still a very good copy of an uncommon book.
