Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Black cover with gilt on spine, no jacket. This book constitutes an attempt to examine the causes and circumstances of the transition from the political chaos of the immediate World War1 post-war years to the economic catastrophe which has accompanied the Great Depression. It undertakes to prove that precisely as, a century ago, European peace was impermanent because of political inequalities existing between the nationalities of the Continent. The book is in very good condition EXCEPT for tanning and foxing on the frontispiece and end page.
