The front board has an oval photograph of Rev. Brooks inside an incised gilt frame and incised gilt lettering & fancy trim. The backstrip has gilt lettering, borders, and small trim. The tops of the pages are gilt. Book is clean & very tight. The boards have some light soiling, wear & edgewear with bumped corners. The photograph & incised gilt lettering & trim on the front board are very bright. The backstrip has some light fading, a spot of soiling & edgewear. The incised gilt lettering is very bright. The leaves have no markings. Two facing pages have the impression of a thin ribbon bookmark close to the hinge. The original owner tore out the front free endpaper. Ships within 24 hours.
