A Very Good copy. A promotional booklet about the Douglas Fir. Author Bror L. Grondal begins by describing the Douglas Fir as a tree and some properties and characteristics of Douglas Fir forests. Grondal then proceeds to describe the Douglas Fir in the form of lumber and promotes it as a unique building material with positive attributes such as being durable and providing efficient heat insulation. There is also information about the different grades of Douglas Fir wood and the "forest companions" of the tree including the Western Red Cedar, West Coast Hemlock, and Sitka Spruce.
