Add to basket1st edition. "Crabb Robinson's theatre records extend from 1811 to 1866 - which means that, as well as Mrs Siddons, Kemble and Mrs Jordan, he saw the juvenile Ellen Terry. That is a tremendous span of unprofessional reporting. It would have been a bore to preserve his abbreviations and mis-spellings of proper names. But it was essential to our pleasure to retain his ordinary spelling, his capitals and, especially, his punctuation." (V.C.Clinton-Baddeley, Foreword).
