Hbk; blue cloth boards; no lettering to front cover; gold lettering to spine; Frontis (b/w line drawing) is 'the children peeped at her excitedly'; 3 further b/w plates (as issued) ; all these match Sue Sims points for a 1st edition - however she put 280pp. I wonder if this is a misprint, as the copy has 220pp - but as every other point matches, I am fairly sure this is a 1st edition. (also the previous seller has left inside that they sold it as a 1st edition some years ago). An attractive copy of a very scarce title - the final one in the Torment series. No hand writing inside.
