Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Four volume edition in half-leather binding with decorative paper covered boards. Translated from the French by August Brucher. Fading to the spines with rubbing and a little fraying to the corners. Title panels all present on the spines. The boards have only light surface wear.… The top edges of the pages are purple. Scattered spotting to the fore edges and bottom edges. Each volume has a frontispiece and tissue paper between this and the title page. The pages are clean and unmarked. No slipcase.
