B/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby marks and some scuffing to covers. Prize plate to front endpaper. Some page browning; couple of pages are creased. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Small 8vo. pp 64. Original publisher's illustrated grey cloth, lettered black on spine and front cover. Illustrated in colour and b/w throughout. No date, [1902]. London county council award label on the front pastedown. Slight rubbing at extremities and slightly bumped at fore-edges, otherwise clean, very good. Decent copy.

Colour chromolithograph frontispiece of 'Terry', 6 full-page line drawings and 15 b/w in-text line drawings. Original red cloth binding with black lettering, vignette of Terry and handler to the front board. Binding very good with a little general wear and rubbing, boards a little marked. Contents clean and tight, gift plate to front paste-down, pages slightly tanned with just a little reading wear. A very good copy of this fine little book that tells the tale of How Terry and his handler (eventually) rescue the wounded Lord Drayton in the Boer War. Size: 12mo. Book.
