The only published book listed by Calvin Lambert is a later book of verse titled 'Selected Poems of a West-Indian' published in 1941 by the Fortune Press. The little information I have been able to glean is that he came to the UK from Trinidad and trained as a doctor in London and worked in London as a GP for many years. He also appeared as a guest on a BBC programme in the 1930s about the experience of West Indian immigrants in the UK. Bound in a thin card cover. Edges rubbed and worn at the top corners. Covers dusty with some soiling. Internally, in clean condition. 12mo, vi +35pp, 50g. Signed by Author(s).
