Small pamphlet on many various lamenesses--from quarter cracks to founder-…-and how to treat them by applying Campbell's moisturizing Horse Foot Remedy. The many testimonials come from several brewers, harness racing driver Ed Geers, trotting horse breeders, bookmakers, etc. Can be sent outside the US for less than the default shipping rate. Good (light chipping and dogearing).

Stapled spine ends and tips rubbed, tiny chip in outer edge of frt cover. Cover holding securely but a fragile item. 48 pages browned. Copyright 1891 on cover, inside cover… has preface to the second edition. Only other dates found are in rear recommendations of the product from various users including the Dallas Fire Dept, Darlingtons & Co. Brewing Co and various other outfits that delivered their products by horse and carriage. Inside rear cover is a black illustration of a harnessed horse and description that said horse that had corns, etc and was purchased for $20, cured 4 weeks later with this remedy. Booklet contains suggestions on how to keep horses' feet in good condition without the labor of backing and soaking, How to prevent and cure corns, quarter cracks, split hoofs, cuts, swellings sprains, foot rot, etc, etc. Interesting horse care advertising ephemera item. Displays well.
