Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Remarkable limited edition volume containing original and reproduction coins, banknotes and photographs of the old Leifeng Pagoda, prior to its reconstruction in 2002. Numbered certificate (no.518 from print run of 2,000 copies) in pouch to rear stating that of the eight ancient coins set into the book's pages five are "real" and three are replicas. Pages are heavy and thick to allow for coin insets, with gilt to all edges. All is in fine internal order. Pictorial paper-covered boards are rubbed however, this particularly noticeable to edges. 4to. 22pp.
