First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Very curious book by Michael Cape-Meadows, pseudonym of Michael Weldon Champneys, brother of British novelist, Adelaide Mary (A. M.) Champneys. Novel containing elements of fantasy and horror published by Holden in 1927. First edition. Good only in blue buckram with spine and back panel quite stained in white splotches, but retained in a very good, seemingly original dust jacket with no signs of damage other than edge wear and a few tears. Does not seem to be a facsimile as it was clearly printed on a letter press, and is aged/tanned around the edges and on the spine. Presents well, and remains clean and tight internally.
