Hardback. Condition: Good. 1st. First edition self-published hardback, 1907, with no jacket. In overall good-to-very good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards lightly rubbed to edges and spine a touch tanned. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no inscriptions - a little very minor annotation in pencil here and there with ownership signature neat to front pastedown; toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Photographs available. Not an old library book.

Condition: Very Good. First edition, 8vo., pp.xxi,200,(xxi)plates,(ii)adverts, pictorial brown cloth, gilt, lettering in black, frontispiece map with tissue guard; a couple of small marks to rear board, light bruising to upper corners of boards, a couple of spots of rubbing to extremities, a very good copy indeed.
