Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The book has red boards, with black lettering on the spine and front board, including a design incorporating an emblem and flowers. Modern English Series. Stamped on the front end paper with 'The Queen Mary High School 1937'. There is neat pen writing from 2 pupils, which includes their form numbers and letters on the half title page. There is very minimal shelf / edge ware to the book. The corners have slightly turned in and there is a very small amount of scuffing along the top and bottom of the spine and edges. The spine is slightly sunned and dust discolouration. The book has no jacket. The spine has internally cracked, the webbing is still tight and the pages haven't been affected. The pages are in a very good condition, apart from very slight spotting on the page ends. OVerall, I class this book as in a good condition, given its age, and it previously being a school book.
