Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First American edition (published in the U.K. as *Heron*). A bit of staining and foxing on the endpapers, else about fine in attractive very good or better dustwrapper with a modest chip at the foot of the spine and other light wear. First novel, purportedly by the daughter of a famous author who wrote this under a pseudonym, about the three daughters of a famous author, and the unusual control he exerts over his daughters romantic and social lives. Handsome copy of an uncommon title. *OCLC* locates four copies, but doesn't reveal the author's true identity.
