The spine is slightly faded with its head & tail lightly chipped. [viii] & 412 pages plus 32-page publisher's catalog. Illustrated with 16 black-and-white portrait plates, including a frontispiece with a tissue guard. The tissue guard is foxed with its bottom corner creased. There is offsetting to the front endpaper.
