The publication is an issue of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the German release of the 1928 Buster Keaton comedy film "Steamboat Bill, Jr.", produced by United Artists. While the film direction was officially credited solely to Charles Reisner, Keaton was an unofficial co-director. The film was Keaton's last produced by United Artists, and includes the infamous stunt where the house collapses around him. The booklet is profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photogravure images and photomontage, depicting scenes and characters from the film. Text throughout, including cast and crew credits, in German. Wrappers with horizontal folding creases. Minor rubbing along the spine. Interior with light age toning to the edges of the pages. Wrappers and interior in very good+ condition overall. Quite scarce, protected by modern mylar.
