Dust jacket strongly rubbed with some foxing and light staining/soiling; nicks, short tears, and some bumping; front flap is not price-clipped. Black cloth with orange and white lettering to spine. Foxing and a few small stains to text block edges. Endpapers toned; slight rippling to front free endpaper. Slight foxing to interior leaves; several leaves at book's center have stains at their top margins. Binding is firm. A good+ copy in a good+ dust jacket.

The publication is an issue of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the German release of the 1928 Buster Keaton comedy film "Steamboat Bill, Jr.", produced by United Artists. While the film direction was officially credited solely to Charles Reisner, Keaton was an unofficial co-director. The film was Keaton's last produced by United Artists, and includes the infamous stunt where the house collapses around him. The booklet is profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photogravure images and photomontage, depicting scenes and characters from the film. Text throughout, including cast and crew credits, in German. Wrappers with horizontal folding creases. Minor rubbing along the spine. Interior with light age toning to the edges of the pages. Wrappers and interior in very good+ condition overall. Quite scarce, protected by modern mylar.
