Internally clean and tight with No Inscriptions or other Marks. "The Aeroplane" ran from 8 June 1911 (No.1) till 17 April 1959 (No.2485). An early, and slimmer First World War issue of this fascinating magazine - the front cover has a caption - "The Younger Generation" and an aerial image of the Camp of the Victorian Contingent of the Australian Expeditionary Force on the Werribee Plain". This issue runs from pages 513- 532. The articles are interspersed with only a few b/w Aeroplane related adverts this time, and the Contents of this issue are mainly in some form War related articles = ' The New (s=Paper) War' ; 'Comforts for the R.
