Half-red linen over burgundy cloth, gilt lettrng on frnt cvr & spine, a.e.g. (somewhat shkn, mnr soilng), still a good copy, inscribed by the author on the 2nd flyleaf, 1912, w/ occasional annotations in his hand. First edition, signed, of this poetry anthology, by the noted American industrialist, inventor, and poet. He organized the Chesebrough manufacturing company for petroleum products in the mid-19th-century, erected the Chesebrough building facing the Battery in New York, and was the originator of the New York Real Estate Exchange.
