The 'Garden of Virtues' symbolizes the Sacred Heart of Jesus to which Dharmaram is dedicated to. "Isabhakti Paramjnanam"(Love of God is the Supreme Wisdom) is the motto of Dharmaram. The aim of Dharmaram is to form holistically, spiritually, intellectually and culturally future generation priests who are prepared to commit themselves to the service of the Church and the world. India is a land of Encounter. In it three major religions of the work, Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism took origin and grew together. What were the laws that governed religious encounter? How did a single Indian tradition emerge from the conflict and co-existence of these religious traditions? What is the future of a religious dialogue in this world of ours? Such are the questions that are posed here.
