Bünden, mit Rückenvergoldung und Marmorpapiervorsätzen - Einbände leicht abweichend (Vergoldung, Format, Bezugs- und Vorsatzpapiere). Sprache: Französisch…, Mit zusätzlichem phot. Titelportrait (montierte Originalphotographie in Holzschnittrahmen), wohl ein Portrait Chicoras, in Band 1, sowie im Supplement mit 4 Abbildungen (Grubenlampen / lampes des mineurs) auf 1 lith. Falttafel. Einband von Band 1 (Hauptband) gering berieben und bestoßen; letzte Blätter im weissen Rand am Kopf (Kopfsteg) etwas rötlich verfärbt (sporenfleckig) und letztes Blatt (S. 547/548) hier auch mit 2 winzigen Fehlstellen; vereinzelt gering stockfleckig; seitlich und am Fuß unbeschnitten. Mit vor dem Titel beigebundenem Justifikationsblatt: "Les exemplaires non revetus du paraphe des auteurs seront reputes contrefaits" - dieses Blatt recto mit eigenhändigem Namenszug von Chicora und von diesem verso auch mit "Ch." paraphiert (Blatt leicht gebräunt). Beigebunden sind außerdem 2 Kleinveröffentlichungen: "Royaume de Belgique: Loi sur les poids et mesures" aus dem Jahre 1855 (8 Seiten) und "Ministere des Cravaux Publies: Loi sur les Caisses de prevoyance en faveur des ouvriers mineurs (1)" aus dem Jahre 1868 (4 Seiten). Mit 2 Exlibris von Louis-Charles-Adolphe Chicora verso Vordervorsatz (jeweils in Holzschnittbordüre): "L. C. A. Chicora, Avocat, Conseiller au conseil des mines" und "L. C. A. Chicora, President du Conseil des Mines". Auf dem 2. Vordervorsatz recto mit handschriftlichen Einträgen und auf dem 2. hinteren Vorsatz mit handschriftlichem "Appendice" - wohl alles von der Hand L. C. A.
